    Some idiot private contractor decided to push snow from someone's property in front of my mother's house. She cannot access her mailbox, the entrance to the handicap ramp has snow melting from the pile dumped creating an ice rink in front of the ramp and her house. Please, can someone from the highway department drop some sand, calcium chloride anything to make it somewhat safer?     Gravel Street Meriden, CT - Meriden
    There are a number of houses on Gravel Street that have not shoveled their sidewalks. This is making it difficult and dangerous for children walking to school (they have to walk in the road). The houses/sidewalks start around 222 Gravel and continue north towards Nathan Hale. After the ice storm and subsequent melting, these sidewalks are now covered with snow and ice.
  • Briarwood Drive - Meriden
    In the area of Briarwood Drive, Wall Street, Gravel Street (cannot yet pinpoint the house), someone insists upon tethering their dog in all types of weather. I listened to the poor dog bark from 6:00 - 9:30 this morning; the animal is back outside and has been barking for almost one hour. Who should I call regarding this issue? Does or will the Meriden Police Department enforce Connecticut's anti-tethering law? Please help.
