If you're picking a fight, you chose the wrong person. I keep my property and the surrounding area clear of trash that people toss out car windows, passersby dropping trash, people not picking up their dog poop, etc. I will not go into other neighorhoods, downtown areas to pick up god knows what from the curbside - that is why the city has street-sweeping vehichles. I volunteer for cleanups through a multitude of non-profit organizations.

What do you do to clean the city?

you are so right MaurysMom, they only sweep the main streets now for years, they need to do side streets too, at least twice a year.also why cant the have prisoners come out and clean like they use too to pickup trash.or people thats on comunity service.let them work,to cut down on city workers .this whole town needs a good cleaning, it's so nasty...i'm ashamed to say i live here..

Hey at least we're gonna build two new high schools. Maybe the new schools will change the fact that Meriden has a horrible public education system. What else do we get for our tax dollar in this town?

Nothing has been done to rectify this issue; no response from city government; trash continues to multiply on city streets; Why do people bother reporting when nothing is accomplished?
