Thank you for the post. We certainly understand your frustration with the incredibly dangerous road conditions illegal driving creates. Traffic violence is an epidemic across the country and we would like all parties to recognize this and integrate this fact into their daily actions. Currently the NHPD does not utilize SeeClickFix, but we have been strategizing on how to utilize SCF data in an effective manner that will act as a tool for police issues. We are optimistic about implementing this plan soon. For the moment, I have forwarded this issue to the traffic enforcement division of the NHPD to make them aware of our shared concern. Going forward, any police issues can be reported to the NHPD non-emergency line at (203)946-6316, and residents have the opportunity monthly to engage with their NHPD district managers at the monthly community management team meetings, the details of which can be found here;
https://nhsofnewhaven.org/community-management/ Another area of SCF we’re looking at improving is better communicating to users how to best utilize available categories. The Signs category is for reporting problems with existing signs, and when we acknowledge sign requests it generates a work order in or work order management tool to address the concern. As this issue is actually about traffic enforcement, we are closing the request. Thank you.
