Description
Takoma Ave at Gist lacks a safe sidewalk or protected walking lane for school kids coming home from ES, MS & school bus. Cars rush mti cut through the neighborhood to catch the new stop sign at Ritchie so they can bypass the Philadelphia to Piney Branch one lane intersection. Not safe for kids .no response from Councilwoman Stewart.

Just around this intersection was the scene of a late night crash that set a house on fire & caused the terrible loss of a young person driving a few years ago.
