This is a picture of the Sacred Heart bus parked at the corner of Park Avenue and Gedulding Street just past the traffic light. All along the right side of that street are signs saying “no parking anytime”, yet the bus turns off Park Avenue and stops right at the top of Gedulding street! In the last two weeks, I have seen SEVEN cars turning right from Park Avenue onto Gedulding Street almost either hit the bus because it is so close to Park Avenue or get hit after they make the right turn because they have to SWERVE out to AVOID the bus and traffic coming up Gedulding street almost hit them head on! Either the bus needs to park all the way down Gedulding at the very END of the sacred heart offsite dorms, (these are teenage and early 20 aged college students – they can walk 25 yards!) or the bus needs to come from the opposite direction and park on the side of the street where student cars are allowed to park to pick up students. We have contacted security at Sacred Heart about this MULTIPLE times! And just like everything else, they don’t care and they continue to crap on North end residents. We are sending this to the governor and the state Attorney General because we are tired of Sacred Heart and their TOTAL lack of concern and their total distain for north end tax paying residents in Bridgeport. The mayors office was all also contacted about this and we got crickets so remember that northern TAXPAYING voters. The mayor must be getting paid to play from Sacred Heart of Fairfield.
